In the vibrant heart of the Gold Tower Hotel in Naples, light does more than illuminate: it shapes the space, defines the atmosphere, and conveys a sense of identity. This is where Gold Wave was born, a bespoke lighting composition created with Egokube fixtures and conceived as a suspended wave flowing through the lobby with elegance, energy, and character.
Gold Wave is the result of a collaboration between officinadiarchitettura&design and Egoluce, a creative exchange that produced a suspension capable of uniting technology, craftsmanship, and architectural vision. The intention was not simply to provide illumination, but to craft an experience: a presence that welcomes guests, guides their gaze, and transforms the lobby into a meaningful place from the very first step.
The inspiration comes from the sea, a profound and enduring symbol of Neapolitan culture. The fluid, enveloping line of the suspension echoes the rhythm of water, while the interplay between gold and black surfaces creates a refined balance of light and shadow, warmth and depth. The result is a dynamic luminous gesture that shifts with reflections, perspectives, and the movement of guests.
Gold Wave becomes an expression of contemporary elegance, Mediterranean identity, and a strong inclination toward architectural scenography.
Gold Wave is shaped with Egokube fixtures, ceiling-mounted elements with an essential design that act as true architectural modules. Crafted in aluminum and free of visible screws, they offer a clean, precise presence, ideal for composing dynamic and fluid configurations.
The GU10 light source, powered directly from the mains, ensures simple installation and remarkable flexibility in defining the lighting effect. A wide range of finishes, including white, black, sand, and precious gold or copper leaf, allows designers to create refined atmospheres and distinctive visual identities.
Within Gold Wave, Egokube becomes a rhythmic component that builds the movement of the wave and transforms light into a continuous, recognizable architectural gesture.
